“I thought the book was honest, relatable, insightful and overall really good. . . Thank you for writing it because this is hard stuff to go through.” Lauren
As the title implies, this book is full of practical information that shows sufferers of histamine, glutamate, sulphur and salicylate sensitivity how to become ‘Free to Eat’. Learn which foods allow you to eat more, what practices and activities increase your tolerance levels and how to become healed and happy in five easy steps.
Free to Eat is the basic “how to manage your chemical intolerances” guide that I wish someone had handed me when I was first diagnosed and which I couldn’t find anywhere else. It’s a practical guide for adults and for parents of children who suffer from chemical intolerances such as salicylate, histamine, sulphur and glutamate sensitivity. Free To Eat covers all aspects of day to day living and shows you:
– how you can look good while avoiding problem chemicals in personal care and make-up products
– how to clean your house faster, easier and more effectively without using chemicals
– safe treatments for daily illnesses and first aid including what to take to reduce the symptoms of a chemical intolerance reaction
– how to navigate social situations and explain your situation effectively to others
– how and what to eat to reduce the potential for reactions
Free to Eat doesn’t just show you how to manage your chemical sensitivities though, it shows you how you can get better. Find out what practices and activities effectively lower chemical sensitivity reactions and increase your tolerance levels, and which nutritional supplements truly do help. This book will be an informative handbook for those who follow a Failsafe or Feingold diet or for anyone with multiple chemical sensitivity or an intolerance to salicylates, amines, sulphur or glutamates.
Fully Revised and Expanded Edition now also includes sections on:
– a protocol to de-sensitize yourself and/or your children to salicylates which allows you to consume high levels without significant issues
– how to easily and effectively kill parasites in your body
– a technique to retrain your brain and body to accept a greater variety of foods
– why you may experience issues when you eat fats and which fats are best to eat
“Hey, Janine! Just finished reading Free To Eat. So much great information, not just from a sal level, but overall health….I learned tons. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.”Clint
I have been living with significant multiple chemical sensitivity since about 2013. Generally, my tolerance levels are pretty good now and I live relatively “normally”. My sensitivities increased when I went through perimenopause but have settled again now. One of the things that helped my healing the most was, ironically, letting go of trying to be cured and instead focusing on how to be happy. I give more information about this in my 10 Steps to Happiness book.
If you are in the midst of stress in dealing with chemical sensitivity issues, then the practical information in Free to Eat will help you to manage and reduce your symptoms. This is where I started. Once you feel like you are managing your symptoms effectively, and want to move into further healing then I recommend reading my book 10 Steps to Happiness and start working your way through the information and practices in it. This will help you move into healing on an emotional and energetic level.
I send you much love, as I know the challenges of this journey, but healing and recovery are possible.
